Yes, the Mash Machine was hosted at many outdoor events. It is recommended that you have a shelter or an open marquee to protect the unit from the weather and especially harsh sun that can affect the unit from reading the controllers.

The Mash Machine is generally played by 4 players at any one time. Each player taking a set of controllers (drums, bass, melody & vocals) and working together to create music.

We find that a crowd usually surrounds these players and players naturally interchange with one another when they have enjoyed their time on the Mash Machine. Most players will spend around 5 minutes at a time.
